Reynolds Cup Competition

The Reynolds Cup (RC) competition established in 2002, is a quantitative mineral analysis exercise with the following objectives:

  • To enhance the practice of quantitative mineral analysis
  • To recognize and promote excellence in quantitative mineral analysis
  • To test the state-of-the-art in mineral analysis
  • To provide mineralogists and others in the scientific community with an avenue to evaluate and improve their analytical practices

2010 Biennial Reynolds Cup Competition

The 5th Biennial Reynolds Cup Competition (2010) for quantitative mineral analysis will be organized by the 2008 winner Steve Hillier. Information about that competition should be avialable in late 2009 here.
