GeoScience World (GSW) is a comprehensive Internet resource for research and communications in the geosciences, built on a core database aggregation of peer-reviewed journals indexed, linked, and inter-operable with GeoRef, the premier abstracting and indexing database in the field of earth sciences.

GSW was launched in February 2005 with >30 titles, including Clays and Clay Minerals¨, from 22 leading not-for-profit geoscience publishers and institutes from six countries.

With this move, CCM becomes available to a larger world-wide audience, facilitating research and study by scientists across the geoscience spectrum. The portal will support work in both basic and applied research, as well as education in the geosciences. Full text of articles from volumes published since 2000 are available to subscribers. Abstracts from all volumes back to 1975 are also available to search and view.
